Hermantown hockey should be AA
I do not consider myself a sports enthusiast, but I do have a strong sense of playing fair and knowing right from wrong. I understand the difference between schools that play Class A hockey and those that play in Class AA. I understand that smaller schools do not have to play in the larger class just because of the size of the school. There are some smaller Minnesota high schools such as Duluth Marshall, Roseau and St. Thomas Academy in St. Paul (to name a few) that play Class AA hockey.
Hermantown has a very good hockey team and yet it continues to play in Class A. I believe this sends a message that winning the game is the most important part of playing - even if you are playing against teams that cannot compete with you. At some point, Hermantown should be forced to play Class AA hockey.
