Amanda Kishish earned the pitching win as Wisconsin-Superior bounced back from a 5-0 first-game setback to down Northland 5-2 in the second game of a UMAC softball doubleheader Wednesday before 75 at NBC Spartan Sports Complex in Superior.

Sofia Garcia tossed the four-hit shutout with three strikeouts to lead Northland in the opener. Tayler Kraemer had two hits to lead UWS offensively but took the loss on the mound.

Kishish scattered nine hits in the rematch, with nine strikeouts to just one walk, and UWS took control with four runs in the fifth inning.

Kraemer had three hits and two runs to lead UWS (14-10 overall, 7-5 UMAC) and Tiffany Kirk added two hits, a run and two RBIs. Saylor Donnelly had three hits and two RBIs to lead Northland (15-15, 7-5).
