The St. Scholastica softball team routed Northland College in a doubleheader on Monday at Kenwood Field in Duluth, winning the opening game 9-1 in six innings and the second game 13-0 in five innings to improve to 23-3 on the season.

Nicole Anders, Olivia Howe and Haley Rosenthal each drove in a pair of runs in the opener with Rosenthal also striking out seven batters on the mound.

Avery Thompson and Aislind Dail each had three RBIs in Game 2 while Howe and Mara Seurer drove in two runs each. Howe struck out four batters for the shutout.

The Saints are scheduled to host Wisconsin-Superior on Wednesday in a doubleheader at Kenwood Field beginning at 3:30 p.m.
