Head coach: Luke Heikkila
Assistant coaches: Kathryn Rosha, Ori Scherer, Mike McGrath, Steve Fosness
Returning starters: Shayla Marxen, Jasmine Heikkila, Isabelle Tokvam, Elizabeth Scoggin, Emily Seipke, Brette Peterson
New faces to watch: Maia Conlan, Megan Larson, Casey Underdale
Team strengths: "We return last seasons team MVPs in catcher Shayla Marxen and starting pitcher Jasmine Heikkila, which should give us a head start defensively," coach Luke Heikkila said. "Offensively at the plate we return three of our top four leaders in batting average in Marxen (.391), Tokvam (.387) and Seipke (.321), so there is some experience there."
Biggest challenge: "Overcoming preseason injury adversity," Coach Heikkila said. "We have already lost two of our three captains for the season due to injuries in senior pitcher Emily Olson and junior second baseman Emma Swanson. In addition we are younger with eight or maybe even all nine of our starters being 11th grade or under."
Coach's Assessment: "The girls are young but extremely dedicated and are not lacking experience," Coach Heikkila said. "Seven of them are returning starters and all of them played summer ball last year, which will help us out immensely. We added a junior high program and two more coaches this year as our numbers are growing. Two Harbors softball is in a great place."
