Taylor Koehnen's walk-off home run helped spark Minnesota Duluth to a 7-4 and 4-2 NSIC sweep of Bemidji State today at Malosky Stadium.

Koehnen's three-run homer to left field came with one out in the eighth inning of the opener as it was UMD's first walk-off homer since Natalie Wright launched a game-clinching shot against Upper Iowa on April 25, 2015.

Lauren Oberle, Jessica Bren and Erin Thompson also homered for the Bulldogs, while Breanna Swint got the win in relief of starter Sam Pederson.

Swint (12-9) stayed on the mound and went the distance in the rematch, scattering eight hits and striking out four to get the win. Bren and Jordyn Thomas added home runs for UMD (24-15 overall, 15-5 NSIC), while Makayla Pagel had two hits and an RBI to lead the Beavers (22-22, 5-15).

• Wisconsin-Superior stayed unbeaten in UMAC play with a 10-2 and 12-1 sweep over Northland College at NBC Spartan Sports Complex as both games lasted just five innings.

Damara Theis and Amanda Kishish picked up the wins for UWS (13-15 overall, 10-0 UMAC). Theis allowed one earned run on five hits with two walks in the opener, while Kishish tossed a three-hitter with six strikeouts in the rematch.

Bailey Armstrong homered for UWS in the opener. Amelia Leger had a double and two RBIs and Amber Yoch added two RBI singles.

The second game was decided early as UWS scored 10 times in the first inning to cruise past Northland (6-20, 2-10).

Ashlehy Taipale led the way with a three-run homer. Hayley Lathrop had an RBI double and Carpenter and Tulip both had two-run singles.
