College softball: Former Saint hired to lead Northland
Ashland native Tiffany Hudack has been named Northland College’s head softball coach, announced Tuesday.
Hudack, an Ashland native, played collegiately at St. Scholastica, batting .348 for her career with 154 hits, 129 runs, 34 doubles, 10 triples, 15 home runs and 98 RBIs. She hit .419 as a senior in 2014, with 50 runs and 32 RBIs in being named UMAC player of the year.
In addition to softball, Hudack is a standout dirt-track racer, having won Six-Cylinder points titles in 2014 and 2016 at ABC Raceway in Ashland.
