Three Minnesota Duluth players scored in the final seven minutes to lift the Bulldogs to a 4-0 NSIC win over Minnesota Crookston Sunday in Crookston.

Julia Thorson scored in the 43rd minute of play off a pass from Julia Osborne to give UMD a 1-0 lead at halftime.

The Bulldogs dominated the second half, taking 24 shots — 11 on goal — but they were unable to find the back of the net again until Mandy Conkel put a shot past Golden Eagle goalkeeper Abby Olsen in the 84th minute.

Lauren Hansen and Rachel Boelke each added goals in the final five minutes to ensure the Bulldog win.

Olsen finished with 14 saves for the UMC (1-9-1 overall, 1-6-1 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference).

Sophia Grenz needed to make only four saves for the Bulldogs to preserve the shutout.

UMD (1-9-1, 1-6-1) will next play at Concordia-St. Paul at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15.
