Finigan Huffington of St. Scholastica scored in the 10th minute to cancel out an even earlier St. Norbert goal on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, but the Green Knights had more where that came from for a 4-1 win in De Pere, Wis.

Drake Vandermause scored a third-minute penalty kick to give St. Norbert the lead. Huffington tied it up for a bit, but Mitchell Scholz broke the tie in the 29th minute and Vandermause added a second PK as insurance in the second half.

Liam Lothian made three saves for CSS (1-1), which travels to Milwaukee School of Engineering for a Sunday noon matchup.

  • The St. Scholastica women were permitted only one shot on goal in a 2-0 season-opening home loss to Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Olivia May put the Warhawks ahead with a 16-minute goal, followed by an Anna Brodjian penalty kick in the 64th.
