UMAC champion St. Scholastica takes on eighth-ranked Pomona-Pitzer in an NCAA Division III first-round tournament game at 2 p.m. today in Waverly, Iowa.
The Saints (14-7) are making their 10th NCAA appearance, winning in their first trip in 2007 and losing all eight matches since.
They swept UMAC regular-season and postseason titles for the first time since 2015 and outscored conference foes 37-0.
Morgan Friday of Duluth leads NCAA Division III with 29 goals and was named UMAC Offensive Player of the Year for a second consecutive season. Teammate Hunter Zamzow was named Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, while Dave Reyelts was named Coach of the Year for the first time since 2010.
The Sagehens (17-1-1) are in the NCAA tournament for a fourth time and first since 2016. They captured the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular-season and postseason titles for the first time in program history.
The winner will meet either host Wartburg College or Concordia-Wisconsin at 4 p.m. Sunday.
