Wisconsin-Superior will take on 14th-ranked Central (Iowa) in an NCAA Division III first-round tournament game at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Decorah, Iowa.

The Yellowjackets (16-3-2), who won their third consecutive UMAC championship, face the Dutch (14-3-2), who earned an at-large berth to the field of 64 after losing to Luther College in the America Rivers Conference tournament semifinals.

This marks the first time the teams will meet.

UWS beat Augsburg College in the first round a year ago to become the first UMAC men’s team to win an NCAA playoff game.

"We're excited to be back in the NCAAs again," UWS coach Joe Mooney said in a release. "I think we are hitting our stride at the right time, and hopefully we can make some noise in the tournament."

The winner advances to Sunday’s second round against either 16th-ranked Luther or Principia out of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
