St. Scholastica learned Monday it will face No. 8 Pomona-Pitzer (Calif.) in an NCAA Division III first-round tournament game at 2 p.m. Saturday in Waverly, Iowa.

The Saints (14-7), winners of their 14th UMAC postseason championship on Saturday by defeating the University of Northwestern 4-1, will meet the Sagehens (17-1-1), which captured the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament title Saturday.

Host Wartburg College (14-2-3) takes on Concordia-Wisconsin (17-4-0) in the other first-round matchup at 4:30 p.m. The winners meet in Sunday’s second round.
