St. Scholastica suffered its fifth consecutive loss to begin the season, falling to Macalester College 2-0 in nonconference action Wednesday on a chilly, windy night at Saints Field.

The Scots (1-2-3) opened the scoring in the 57th minute on a Chris Bajek and then added to their lead in the 65th as St. Scholastica attempted to clear the ball out of its own box, but the ball deflected off Max Starks and into the net to make it 2-0.

CSS goalkeeper Corey Bulheller made three saves while counterpart Mitchell Kastilahn stopped all four shots.
