A snowmobiler was killed near Cook Sunday afternoon.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, a 25-year-old woman was killed when the snowmobile she was driving left the Arrowhead Snowmobile Trail and hit a tree. She was pronounced dead at the Cook Hospital. Her name is being withheld pending notification of family.
The accident happened around 1 p.m. about five miles northwest of Cook.
