Cory Schultz shot a 2-over-par 73 Friday to claim the early lead of the 82nd Cloquet Invitational at the Cloquet Country Club.
Defending champion Dan Moline of Duluth sits two shots back after notching a 75 in the 54-hole tourney. Kevin Noreen and Paul Nelson are tied for third with 76s, while four golfers shot identical 77s. Schultz, of Dodge Center, Minn., won in 2011.
The 49-player championship flight tees off at 12:20 p.m. today and Sunday.
