Schneider ranked No. 95 by Hockey Hub

Forward Bill "Buzzy" Schneider of Babbitt has been ranked No. 95 in the Top 100 listing of Minnesota's all-time best high school boys players by Minnesota Hockey Hub. The ratings began last week on Hockey Hub's web site and will continue until the start of the 2011-12 high school season.

Schneider, 56, played at Babbitt High School through 1972 as a forward and defenseman, helping the school tie a season record with eight wins as a senior. He was a winger for two seasons at Minnesota, including an NCAA title in 1974, and had 91 points in 115 games. He was a member of the 1976 U.S. Olympic team and played again in 1980, recording five goals and three assists in seven games as the Americans won the gold medal.
