Junior quarterback Alex Thiry passed for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead St. Scholastica to a 48-18 victory over MacMurray College in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference's annual Dome Day on Saturday at the Metrodome in Minneapolis.
Thiry finished 16-for-26 passing for 243 yards for the Saints (5-3 overall, 3-2 UMAC), while Jonny Bennett caught five passes for 112 yards and two TDs.
St. Scholastica's defense forced five turnovers and held the Highlanders (0-8,0-5) to 256 total yards, including just 39 on the ground. The Saints had three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, three quarterback sacks and 15 tackles for a loss.
