Caitlin McKernon led three players in double figures with 13 points and St. Scholastica held Northland College to 17 percent shooting from the field in a 71-27 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference victory Tuesday at Reif Gymnasium.
The Saints (6-6 overall, 1-0 UMAC) jumped to a 38-11 halftime lead, limiting the Lumberjills (2-8, 0-1) to 13 percent shooting in both teams' conference opener.
Northland missed all 14 of its 3-point attempts and finished 9-for-53 shooting overall.
