From weekend NHL transactions, these former Minnesota Duluth players are headed to the American Hockey League: defenseman Neil Petruic from Montreal to Hamilton, defenseman Evan Oberg from Vancouver to Manitoba, forward MacGregor Sharp from Anaheim to Syracuse and goalie Alex Stalock from San Jose to Worcester. Also, Duluthian Zach Fitzgerald, a defenseman, from Carolina to Charlotte.

Also, former UMD women's assistant coach Joakim Flygh, in his first season as head women's coach at Yale, has hired former UMD foward Jessica Koizumi as an assistant coach. Yale, in New Haven, Conn., has a press release here.
