Grandma's Marathon is already two weeks ago, June 19, but if you're looking to relive the race weekend, start with a replay of the the marathon and Garry Bjorklund Half-Marathon on the Fourth of July on WEBC, 560 AM, the Fan. As you're preparing for a cookout Sunday, listen to how Kemboi Philemon edged Kenyan countryman Chris Kipyego by 16 seconds to win in 2:15:44. And hear how two Ethiopians went 1-2 in the women's race led by Buzunesh Deba in 2:31:36.

Also, former U.S. Olympian Carrie Tollefson of St. Paul returned to racing for the first time since having her first child in April. She tied for the William A. Irvin 5-kilometer women's title on Friday. Then on Saturday she followed physical therapist Jenelle Deatherage of St. Louis Park, Minn., who finished 16th in her first marathon in 2:49:27 as part of a video, produced my mtec, that is here . It's a fun 10-minute look at the Grandma's weekend and includes chatting with course record holder Dick Beardsley and 5K women's co-winner Erin Ward of St. Paul.
