Spirit Mountain is holding two appreciation days for Duluth residents with $5 lift tickets for skiing and boarding, $5 rentals and $5 tubing Wednesday and Sunday.
“The deeply discounted rates will provide Duluth residents a low-cost way to experience what Spirit Mountain has to offer and demonstrate Spirit’s appreciation for Duluth's support in reopening last fall,” Spirit Mountain officials said in a statement.
The usual adult lift ticket rate is $65.
Free beginner lessons will be offered to ensure less experienced skiers/boarders can enjoy themselves safely.
To minimize crowding and comply with COVID-19 safety measures, all tickets for skiing/boarding, tubing and rentals must be reserved at spiritmt.com. Electronic waivers also must be signed for all tubing, tickets and rentals. Reservations are time-specific, and a late arrival will result in forfeiting the ticket.
Guests must follow all COVID-19 safety guidelines, including wearing masks in lift lines and indoors and practicing social distancing in the chalet at all times.
Pandemic-related crowd control requires limiting the number of tickets available; time slots will be made available in a manner to help ensure all residents have equal access.
Residents will be required to show a valid ID that demonstrates their residence in the city of Duluth when picking up these discounted tickets.
