Thursday's Section 7AA final between Cloquet and Mora was tied at 3 when it was suspended in the top of the seventh inning because of rain. Cloquet had runners on first and second and two outs. The game resumes at 3 p.m. today at Fichtner Field in Hermantown.
Cloquet's Bryan Anderson, who pitched a two-hitter to knock Esko out of the double elimination tournament with a 3-0 victory Tuesday, allowed three runs on seven hits through six innings against Mora. The Lumberjacks trailed 2-0 before taking the lead with three runs in the sixth inning. Mora tied it up in the bottom half of the inning.
Cloquet needs to beat Mora twice to advance to its first state tournament since 1975.
