The win moved the Lumberjacks (11-8, 9-1) into first place in the league, two points ahead of Hermantown.

Stephanie Carlson led the Hilltoppers (3-13, 0-6) with 16 points.

Abby Ray scored 33 points to help the host Agates overcome a 14-point first-half deficit in a Polar League game.

Caitie Zepcyzk scored 16 points as the visiting Oredockers completed a season sweep of the Trojans in an LSC game.

Sarah Hamlin, the leading scorer in the Northland, poured in 31 points and made five 3-pointers as the Lions rolled to the win in Cloquet.

Hamlin entered the game averaging 24 points per game.

Esko 67, Cromwell 61

Jamie Stokes led the host Eskomos (8-10, 5-2) with 20 points in the Polar League victory.

Esko moved past Cromwell into a three-way tie for second place in the league with Cook County and Barnum. Moose Lake-Willow River moved closer to winning the title by beating Barnum for the second time this season Friday.

Duluth Central 5, Eveleth-Gilbert 1

Jon Ylitalo scored twice as the Trojans secured a nonconference victory in Eveleth.

Central lost 3-1 at Moose Lake Area on Thursday night as the Rebels won their seventh straight game.

Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 2, Bemidji 1

Melissa Clark scored 2:13 into overtime to lift the host Lumberjacks to the win in their regular-season finale.

Nicole Lund stopped 22 shots for CEC (15-9-1).
