Senior Kiley Borowicz continued her pursuit of 3,000 career points with a 30-point effort and sophomore Kacie Borowicz added 21 in Roseau's 80-67 nonconference home win.

Eighth-grader Katie Borowicz had 10 points for the Rams (20-0), who are ranked first in Class AA.

Chelsea Mason scored 24 points to lead the Rangers (19-1), Class A's top-ranked team, to move within 104 points of becoming Northeastern Minnesota's top girls career scoring leader. Mason, who earlier this winter passed Charlotte Overbye in school annals, has 2,748 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Cloquet 46, Hibbing 41

Bryce Turnbull had 15 points and Brandon Hill added 12 as the Lumberjacks (5-12) held on for the nonconference road win.

Luke Lundell, who scored 38 points and hit 12 3-pointers in a game earlier in the week, had 11 points to lead the Bluejackets (8-9).

MLWR 66, Two Harbors 62

Avery Kosloski had 20 points to lead the Rebels to the road win.

Thomas Gulso (16 points) and Ryan Barrett (15) also scored in double figures for MLWR (10-8).

Jayden Ruberg led all scorers with 24 points to lead the Agates (5-13), while Brian Dugger added 14.

McGregor 69, Silver Bay 49

Carson Passer drained seven 3-pointers and scored 33 points to lead the host Mercuries (14-3), who jumped to a 37-21 lead and never looked back.

Jason Blood had 20 points to lead the Mariners (10-6).

BOYS HOCKEY

Grand Rapids 1, Wayzata 0

Micah Miller's power-play goal 4:25 into overtime lifted the ninth-ranked Thunderhawks to the win at the Plymouth Ice Center.

Zach Stejskal made 30 saves to post the shutout.

Max Roberts netted four goals as the Golden Bears romped past the host Rails in nonconference action.

Sage Gerard scored three goals and Jessica Bird added a pair in the Rebels' win at Heritage Center.

GRG 6, Hibbing-Chisholm 6

The host Bluejackets scored four times in a wild third period to overcome a three-goal deficit, but it the Thunderhawks' Ty Bischoff who scored the equalizer with a short-handed goal with 4:00 left in the third period.
