Tyler Goodrie rushed for four touchdowns, including a 55-yarder on the opening play, as the Rangers won the St. Louis County Conference season opener at Tower in a game called after three quarters due to lightning.

Goodrie rushed for 86 yards on nine carries and kicked six extra points. Quarterback Ryan Buria added 74 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and 126 through the air.

Melissa Madison scored the tying goal in the 66th minute and goalie Alexa Peterson preserved the draw with nine saves for the host Hawks.
