Andover did a double over Duluth East during the Lake Superior Classic at East High School on Saturday.
The Huskies girls took down the Greyhounds 65-32 in the third matchup of the seven-game lineup, while in the nightcap, Andover prevailed 86-79 over East's boys in double overtime.
In the girls game, East struggled to get its offense started in the early going and fell behind by double digits in the first half. The Greyhounds trailed 27-15 at the break, and Andover only pulled away from there.
Rachel Hagen led East with 13 points and Ashlynne Guenther added 10.
In the boys game, Andover's Sam Musungu scored more than half of his team's total, finishing with 42 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Pine City 54, Duluth Marshall 50
A fast start and a 38-point game from Regan Juenemann wasn't enough for the Hilltoppers to hold off a bigger and more-experienced Dragons squad in the Lake Superior Classic.
Marshall rode good early shooting to a 23-9 lead in the first half, but the lead had been cut to 28-26 by the break, and though Marshall briefly regained the lead it had lost, the Hilltoppers fell to 6-6 overall.
BOYS BASKETBALL
North Branch 65, Grand Rapids 52
Four Vikings scored in double figures led by a 16-point game from Trevor Johnson, which was enough to counteract a game-high 18 for the Thunderhawks' Austin Hanson.
In the other two boys games scheduled Saturday at the Lake Superior Classic, Nevis took down Mountain Iron-Buhl 63-52 and Hermantown topped Pine City 88-74 in the opener.

Wodny continues dominance at Duluth Invite
A dominating season continued for Duluth's Grant Wodny at his team's home meet Saturday at Lincoln Park Middle School.
Wodny, a junior who finished in the top four in two events at the Class AA state meet last season, won the 100-yard freestyle and 200 individual medley by wide margins. His 100 free time of 48.28 seconds was more than 3.5 seconds better than the field, and his 1:57.49 in the 200 IM was a winner by more than two seconds.
Wodny also swam a leg of Duluth's winning 200 medley relay, which finished nearly five seconds ahead.
