Dylan Steman scored the first and last goals and goaltender Ryan Coyne stopped 27 shots as ninth-ranked Maple Grove upset fourth-ranked Duluth East 3-1 in a high school boys hockey game Saturday at Heritage Center, ending the Greyhounds' home unbeaten streak at 20.

Phil Johnson scored the lone goal and JoJo Jeanetta made 22 saves for East (14-4), which hadn't lost at four home ice sheets -- the DECC, Amsoil Arena, Superior Ice Arena and Heritage -- since falling in overtime to Wayzata in December 2009.

Hermantown 2, New Prague 0

Travis Koepke and Garrett Skrbich scored goals and Connor Lucas stopped all 25 shots as the second-ranked Hawks (17-1-1) posted their fourth shutout this season in the nonconference win.

Thief River Falls 2

Jordan Shockley, Darrick Howard and Dan Letourneau scored third-

period goals as the Hilltoppers rallied to win the nonconference game at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

Goalie Christian Coffman blocked 24 shots for 10th-ranked Marshall (13-7-1), which won its fourth straight and sixth in the past seven games.

Warrroad 3, Duluth Central 2

Tanner Pederson scored twice in the first period and assisted on Hayden Timm's game-winning third-period goal to give the Warriors the nonconference home win over the Trojans (10-10).

Proctor 5, Sauk Rapids-Rice 2

Tyler Pionk broke a 2-2 tie late in the second period with the first of his two goals as the Rails (12-6-1) won the nonconference road game.

Virginia-MIB 6, Silver Bay 1

Six players scored and the eighth-ranked Blue Devils put 67 shots on Mariners goalie Alex Murray in the nonconference win at Rukavina Arena in Silver Bay.

Tyler Cisar and Zach Cisar scored in the final minute of the third period as the Rebels pulled out a tie at home. Tyler Cisar's power-play goal cut the deficit to 4-3 with 53 seconds to go, then Zach Cisar netted the equalizer with 8 seconds left.

Nick Parkhurst scored 22 points as the Eagles ended Lakeview Christian Academy's undefeated run in Maple Grove.

Anders Broman was held to 25 points, 13 below his average, as the Lions' 17-game winning streak came to an end.

Taylor Stafford scored 29 points and had nine steals and seven assists to lead the host Greyhounds to their fourth straight win.
