Kevin Stocke tossed a three-hitter to lead the Hermantown baseball team to a 5-1 victory over Duluth East Wednesday in Hermantown.
The Hawks scored four runs in the third inning off of Greyhounds pitcher Darrin Zwak with the help of an error that led to three of them being unearned. Hermantown had seven hits and Duluth East had four.
Stocke has allowed just one earned run in 38 2/3 innings this spring.
The Hawks are now 12-0.

Jared Mattson tossed a complete game one-hitter with seven strikeouts and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs for the host Eskomos.
Two Harbors 6, Floodwood 1
The Agates scored three runs in the second inning and three more in the seventh as Two Harbors wrapped up the Polar League Championship in Floodwood.

Hawks sweep LSC meet
Hermantown won both the boys and girls portions of the Lake Superior Conference meet at Chequamegon Bay Golf Club in Ashland on Wednesday.
The Hawks slipped past second-place Duluth Denfeld by nine strokes, 314 to 323, while Hermantown's Trent Sundbom and Denfeld's Jessie Moder each shot 37 for nine holes to lead the boys field.
On the girls side, the Hawks topped second-place Cloquet-Esko, 360 to 388, and Hermantown's Callie Wilson led the field with a 42.
