Dyami Starks scored 29 points to go over 2,000 career points and lead Duluth East to a 78-72 victory over Forest Lake in the Granite City Classic high school boys basketball tournament Tuesday in St. Cloud, Minn.
Starks had three 3-pointers and ended the game with 2,002 career points to become the third player from East and the 16th from Northeastern Minnesota to reach the milestone.
The Greyhounds face No. 4 St. Cloud Tech in the championship at 8 p.m. today.
