Sweeney's goal in the 43rd minute was the only shot to beat Hawks goalie Aaron Luhm, who made seven saves.

The Hilltoppers (3-3-1, 2-1) play Duluth East at 4 p.m. today at Public Schools Stadium. The Hawks fell to 3-3-2 and 2-2-1.

Donovan DeBartolo notched a hat trick as the host Rails (7-0, 5-0) stayed unbeaten and atop the LSC.

Emily DesMarais scored two goals and Leah Hamm had a goal and an assist as the Trojans (5-1, 4-0) won at PSS and maintained their lead atop the LSC.

Andrea Enockson, with 44 set assists, helped hitters Mary Neumann and Stephanie Kallberg to 17 set assists apiece as the Hawks won the nonconference match at Coleraine, handing the Raiders (4-1) their first loss of the season.
