Connor Danielson scored three first-half goals as Duluth East cruised to a 4-1 victory over visiting Henry Sibley on Saturday, stretching the Greyhounds' unbeaten streak to eight to start the high school boys soccer season.
Danielson scored in the seventh, 24th and 30th minutes as East (5-0-3) took a 4-0 halftime lead.

Isak Abukhodair floated a shot over Trojans goalkeeper Ben Campbell with one second left in the first half and scored on a penalty kick in the second half as the Lake Superior Conference opponents played to a draw.
Tyler Morrison and Darren Kerner gave Central (1-6-1, 1-2-1) a 2-0 lead before the Hawks (3-2-2, 2-1-1) rallied.

Grand Rapids survived three-game matches against DeLaSalle and Benilde-St. Margaret's and swept Cloquet and Fridley to take first place in the Coon Rapids Invitational.
Cloquet took fourth place, while Duluth East went 2-2 and lost the consolation final to Cambridge-Isanti.
