Junior running back Jake Disterhaupt rushed eight times for 213 yards and four touchdowns, and caught two scoring passes as Moose Lake-Willow River beat Deer River 60-14 in a Great Polar White high school football battle between unbeatens Friday night at Deer River.
The second-ranked Rebels (5-0, 2-0) trailed 14-13 in the first quarter before scoring the final eight touchdowns. Josh Cisar rushed for 155 yards and one touchdown. Quarterback Tony Adamczak's two passes went for touchdowns of 73 and 38 yards, giving him three TDs on four completions in the past two games.
Disterhaupt has rushed for more than 800 yards this season, scored 17 touchdowns and averaged more than 16 yards per carry as Moose Lake-Willow River stretched its winning streaks to 43 straight in the regular season and 30 on the road.
Damon Benham rushed for 78 yards and passed for 71 for ninth-ranked Deer River (5-1, 1-1).

Quarterback Austin Pohlen ran 63 yards for the winning touchdown with 7:58 to play as the Thunderhawks edged the Greyhounds at Noble Hall Field in Grand Rapids.
Linebacker Jamison Evans intercepted a Duluth East pass at the goal line to preserve the win in the final seconds.
Pohlen carried 17 times for 159 yards, and completed 13 of 23 passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Patrick Flaherty caught six passes for 45 yards and two scores. Kicker Brice Becker had two field goals after the goalkeeper shut out Duluth Marshall in soccer earlier in the day.

East quarterback Alex Toscano rushed 24 times for 151 yards and a touchdown, and completed 12 of 24 passes for 142 yards and two TDs. Jordan Hoffmann caught five passes for 86 yards and a TD.
