Prep football roundup: Duluth East loses in new field debut

Junior free safety Dallas Freeman returned two kicks for touchdowns and intercepted a pass as St. Michael-Albertville spoiled the debut of Ordean Stadium with a 43-6 victory over Duluth East in a Mississippi 8 high school football game Friday night.

Freeman returned a punt 63 yards and a kickoff 87 yards for scores. Senior quarterback Cole Krutzig completed 6 of 10 passes for 69 yards and two touchdowns, and had seven rushes for 65 yards.

Brian Lansing rushed 48 yards for East's touchdown.

The Greyhounds and Knights are each 1-1.
