The girls owned a 20-point edge over runner-up Chisago Lakes, 199-179, led by junior Lauren Carlson’s second-place finish. Carlson’s two runs were timed in 1 minute, 18.59 seconds, which was 2.81 seconds behind winner Maggie Blanding of White Bear Lake.

East’s Veronica McHenry was third in 1:21.14, while the top four Greyhounds — those who scored points — finished in the top 19.
