SUPERIOR — A trio of soccer players bundled up as they bravely waded into the Superior Bay off of Barker's Island on Thursday, May 5.
"I don't know how long I'm going to make it," Blake Perry said as he tried to get used to the frigid water.
The group all play summer soccer for Duluth FC, which has its first game Saturday, May 7. During the fall, the group played men's soccer for Wisconsin-Superior.
"We start out the year going in for eight minutes and work our way up to 12 minutes," said Scott Wilson.
They use the chilly water in the Superior Bay to rejuvenate sore muscles like a natural ice bath.

"We come out here until at least July," Wilson said.
