Curling: Duluthians win at world juniors

The United States women's team, skipped by Cait Flannery, opened up the World Junior Championships in style Sunday with an 11-4 victory over Japan's Ami Enami in Liverpool, Nova Scotia.

Flannery's rink includes Duluthians Lexi Lanigan and Rebecca Miles.

The U.S. faced Canada later Sunday as the round-robin tournament continued at Queens Place Emera Centre.
