The Duluth Rowing Club took fourth place in a field of eight teams Saturday at the 61st Duluth International Regatta on the Lake Superior harbor.

The Minneapolis Rowing Club took first, followed by the St. Paul and Long Lake clubs.

Duluth crews won the men's masters quad as well as the junior men's eight, the junior men's four, the mixed masters quad, the masters men's double and the masters women's four. Tom Rauschenfels and Greg Peterson were part of three winning Duluth teams, while Jenny Peterson and Bonnie Fuller-Kask each won twice.

Duluth boats in the junior women's four, the junior men's four and the masters men's double finished second.

Nearly 400 rowers -- the largest in recent memory -- from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Canada competed in 29 events.
