Olympic gold-medal-winning curler Matt Hamilton can now be found in bobblehead form.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee unveiled a limited edition bobblehead featuring Hamilton, of McFarland, Wis. Hall of fame officials said they reached out to Hamilton following the Olympics and he “loved the idea.” A bobblehead rendering was designed the following day and Hamilton’s bobblehead will be produced with his approval. It’s the first time a curler has been featured on a bobblehead.
Hamilton was a member of the Duluth-based U.S. men’s curling team that took home the gold medal during the Winter Olympics in South Korea last month. In addition to Hamilton, the team includes John Shuster of Superior, John Landsteiner and Tyler George of Duluth and alternate Joe Polo of Duluth.
