MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — Duluth FC mowed down the Minnesota TwinStars 6-0 on Wednesday in NPSL North Division soccer, setting up a matchup of the division's top two teams this weekend.

It took 29 minutes for the BlueGreens to break through, as Blake Perry poked in a loose ball from a corner kick. Felipe Arteaga doubled the lead in the 42nd minute in a similar situation.

The visitors put the game away on Santiago Erazo's goal in the 50th minute. Perry tallied a second just after the hour mark, while Kostyantyn Domaratskyy and Martin Grzywa tacked on goals in the closing stretch.

After routing the third-place TwinStars, the BlueGreens (8-1-0) travel to Rochester on Saturday to meet league-leading Med City (9-0-1) for the first of two meetings.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
