The Duluth Huskies had another late night Sunday in Willmar.
A day after winning a five-hour, 13-inning game, the Huskies and Stingers were delayed over two hours due to inclement weather, resulting in Sunday's Northwoods League game not being completed by press time.
On Saturday, Isaac Collins' double to third in the top of the 13th scored Augie Isaacson from second base to give the Huskies (15-15) an 11-10 lead over the Stingers (18-11). Austin Truso, pitching his third inning, retired the Stingers in order in the bottom of the 13th to preserve the win.
Duluth blew a 10-8 lead in the top of the bottom of the 10th inning. The Huskies also failed to hang on to 6-4 and 8-5 leads in regulation on Saturday night.
Shortstop Chase Strumpf had a home run for the Huskies while Collins finished with four hits. Kyle Hubbuch, Rob Emery and Luke Roskam each drove in three runs.
The Huskies and Stingers combined to walk 23 batters with 15 pitchers taking the mound between the two teams. There were 29 total hits.
