Daytona Bryden scored the winning run on a balk in the top of the 10th inning as the Eau Claire Express rallied to beat the Duluth Huskies 9-7 on Wednesday night in Northwoods League baseball at Wade Stadium.
Duluth (14-14 second half) led 6-2 before Eau Claire (17-10) came back to tie it with a run in the seventh and three more in the eighth, keyed by Zach Ashford's two-run double.
Kyle Hubbuch reached base on an error in the bottom of the ninth inning and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt but the Huskies couldn't get him home with the winning run as both teams left 10 on base.
After the Express scored three runs on just two hits in the 10th inning, the Huskies' Rudy Karre hit a solo home run in the bottom half of the inning for the final margin.
Ashford had three hits to lead Eau Claire, while Hubbuch and Karre had three hits apiece for Duluth.
