DULUTH — Noah Marcelo's second grand slam in four games helped the Duluth Huskies a 9-5 win over Willmar to conclude a four-game homestand at Wade Stadium on Saturday.

Kristian Campbell led off the inning with a hit by pitch before Duluth engineered a two-out rally on a Devin Hurdle single and Tyler Leroy walk before Marcelo homered to left to turn a 2-0 game into a 6-0 game. Marcelo also had a grand slam in Duluth's home opener on Wednesday.

J.D. Rogers was 3-for-5 with a double and RBI for the Huskies. Campbell had a busy day on the basepaths, singling twice and getting hit by two pitches. He scored three times. Eduardo Noguera was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Pitcher Harrison Kreiling made his season debut for the Huskies and allowed one earned run on six hits in seven innings.

Four players had two hits apiece for the Stingers.

Duluth (3-3) hits the road for two games at Bismarck, starting at 5:35 p.m. on Sunday.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
