We'd also like to see photographs of you and your big fish (or your daughter’s big fish or grandson’s big fish or wife’s big fish or buddy’s big fish). We'll publish some each Saturday in the printed paper and post more in our online photo gallery called the News Tribune Trophy Room. Email the photos to outdoors@duluthnews.com. Use jpg (jpeg) format and be sure to include all pertinent information, including the angler’s name, hometown, size of fish and where it was caught.
1/My daughter, Emily Manning, Fredenberg, caught this 25-inch walleye on Fish Lake, near Duluth. Emily is the store manager at the Minno-ette.
2/Colby Manning, of Fredenberg, caught this 30.5-inch walleye on Fish Lake, near Duluth.
3/Jacob Adams, of Duluth, caught this 40-inch, 14.8 pound, northern pike on Fish Lake near Duluth. I landed it without a net on a 6 foot ultralight Griggs with a Daiwa Exceler LTD1000 reel, 6lb. test, 10lb. leader, yellow gig and a huge shiner on it.
