Courage Kenny Northland Shoot for Fun: Sept. 9, Old Vermilion Trail Hunting Preserve, 6980 Old Vermilion Trail, Duluth. This is the largest sporting clay event in Minnesota, drawing over 450 hunting and sporting clay enthusiasts from across Minnesota and Wisconsin. Shooting experience is unnecessary. Minimum age is 16 and all meals are included. It needs volunteers for the following: Sept. 9 — setup, 2-5:30 p.m., and new volunteer orientation and dinner, 5:30-7 p.m.; Sept. 10 — Shoot for Fun Event, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and take-down, 4-6 p.m. Barbecue lunch and dinner included.
