Game Fair outdoor hunting expo back for 2021

Outdoor expo is held just north of Twin Cities in Ramsey, Minn.

The annual Game Fair outdoor exposition, held each year since 1982 until COVID-19 scuttled it last summer, is back for 2021 just north of the Twin Cities.

The event is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 13, 14, 15 and Aug. 20, 21, 22 at the 80-acre Armstrong Ranch Kennels, 8404 161st Avenue NW in Ramsey, Minnesota.

The event centers around hunting dogs, dog training and waterfowl and upland bird hunting but also includes archery, shotgun shooting exhibitions, how-to seminars, game calling and more with hunting gear vendors, exhibitors and food.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their shotgun (cased), their bow (cased) and their dog (leashed).

Tickets are $14 for adults ages 15-61; $12 for seniors 62 and older; $5 for children ages 6-14; and free for kids 5 and under. (All children are free on Fridays.) For more information go to gamefair.com or call (763) 427-0944.
