Shane Johnson of Northland Country Club shot a 1-over-par 73 Tuesday at Grand National Golf Club to qualify for the 105th Minnesota Golf Association Amateur Championship.
Johnson finished sixth behind winner Kyle Lewis ofForest Hills Golf Club, who shot 2-under 70.
The MGA Amateur Championship is July 21-23 at Windsong Farm Golf Club in Independence, Minn.
