A citizens race has been added to the list of events at the 62nd Swain Invitational on Oct. 6 at Enger Park Golf Course.
The North Shore Striders are sponsoring the inaugural Cross Country Challenge five-kilometer run at 3:40 p.m., after the completion of the high school races. The event is designed for adults, but all ages are eligible to enter. The entry fee is $25.
