A new Lake Vermilion public access spot will open Monday at Moccasin Point.
An opening celebration is 1 p.m. Monday. Take state Highway 169 north from Virginia and turn left onto County Road 77. The public access is about nine miles down County Road 77.
The event is hosted by the St. Louis County Board and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
