Trever Adams knocked in Jordan Steranka with the winning run in the top of the seventh inning as the Mankato MoonDogs rallied for a 4-3 victory over the Duluth Huskies, capping a MoonDogs doubleheader sweep on Wednesday before 2,596 fans at Wade Stadium.
Mankato trailed 2-0 before scoring three in the sixth and another run in the seventh.
Trailing 4-2, the Huskies came back with a run in the ninth and had the tying run at third, but the MoonDogs got Huskies standout Cody Asche to fly out to end the game.
Tyler Erickson of Minnesota Duluth had a hit and two runs to lead the Huskies (9-8 second half, 26-22 overall), which lost the first seven-inning game 4-1 on Wednesday. Mankato improved to 7-11, 22-30.
Duluth begins a nine-game road trip at 7:05 p.m. today at Willmar.
