Moline leads Northland qualifying
Two-time defending champion Dan Moline of Duluth shot a 1-under-par 70 Thursday to lead a qualifying field of 152 golfers in the 86th Northland Invitational men's tournament at Northland Country Club. Phil Ebner of Minneapolis was second at 71.
Leading the Senior division were Northland members Joe Jeannette and Gene Wolfe at 76.
The championship flight has two matches today, one Saturday and semifinals and championship Sunday.
