Proctor-Hermantown junior Megan Mensinger finished fourth in the
500-yard freestyle Friday at the Minnesota Class A state girls swim meet at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.
Mensinger was timed in 5 minutes, 14.66 seconds, 3.66 seconds faster than her preliminary time Thursday. Delano freshman Jordyn Wentzel won the event in 5:08.78.
Grand Rapids senior Morgan Justus placed sixth in the 1-meter diving competition, totaling 388.50 points. She was third at state as a junior. Blake/Providence junior Megan White was the winner with 415.70 points.
Visitation of Mendota Heights was the Class A team champion with 309.5 points.
- In Class AA, Wayzata swam to the team title with 337 points to easily top Edina.
